Earnings on YouTube in Ukraine
Google helps anyone who wants to make money on advertising on the Internet. And even if you don't have your own website, you can still find a way out. For example, if you have a video that you can upload to YouTube. Prostobiz.ua will tell you how you can make money using a video service.
Who and how much can earn on YouTube
Anyone who has a desire to shoot and / or edit video. As a rule, those who regularly update their channel with new videos earn the most. It all depends on your ideas. You can edit various video cuts, film your culinary feats with step-by-step instructions, show DIY master classes, edit travel video guides and much more, what your imagination is capable of. The most important thing for YouTube is that your videos are copyrighted and you can prove your rights to them.
The very earnings on Youtube depends on many factors: the subject of the video clips, the language of the audience for which the video was shot, the number of views, the presence of advertisers in this niche, etc. Income can vary greatly from country to country. For Ukraine, on average, you can earn from 10 to 50 dollars for every 100 thousand video views.
Where to begin
In order to offer your channel for consideration, you must already have it in fact, and, moreover, sufficiently visited and have its own audience (subscribers).
If the idea to upload your videos and make money from them just came to your mind, you need to do the following:
Create your YouTube channel
Post interesting new videos several times a week.
Distribute the video among your friends / acquaintances / strangers with an offer to subscribe to the channel.
After you have formed the audience of your channel and your channel meets the requirements of YouTube , you can try to apply to monetize your video content.
YouTube Partnership Application
The system offers several training videos on how to make better money. Study them. If you think the channel is ready for monetization, go to the application form and fill it out.
After the application is accepted, you will see the corresponding confirmation, as well as a link where you can check the status of the application.
Remember that applications are screened according to various criteria: audience size, channel dynamics, content quality, community guidelines, terms of use, etc. and if you don't match them, you will simply be rejected in partnership. If your channel is approved for commercial use, you will be able to generate income from advertising impressions.
Also, the YouTube team at any time may require confirmation of your copyright for video materials (if the video is not copyright, it may be blocked).
In addition, the video must be marked publicly. If you open only partial access to those who have a link, such videos will not be monetized.
Commercial use of added videos
In order to enable the display of ads in the videos you have already uploaded when preparing the channel for monetization, go to the "Video Manager" section, find the desired video, and click the "Edit" or "$" button next to it. On the Commercial Use tab in the video editor, check the box. After that, select the ad formats that will be shown in the video and save the changes.
You can enable ads to be shown when uploading new videos in the same way, starting from the Commercial Usage tab on the upload page.
In both cases, the video after these manipulations is sent for verification. You must have full rights to this video and agree to have advertisements from the company's advertisers in this video.
Remember that if music is playing in the background of your video, fragments of films / TV shows are shown, software is shown, live broadcasts, etc., you need to have the written permission of the authors of this content (which, in principle, is impossible for a layman). Therefore, plan your videos carefully to avoid blunders.
In order to disable the display of ads, you need to uncheck the "Commercial use" box in the desired video.
Types of ads in YouTube videos
YouTube offers several types of ads:
In-Video - Transparent overlay ads that appear at the bottom of the video.
True View In-Stream - Shown as video ads at the beginning or middle of your video. After five seconds of viewing this ad, the user can skip it (or watch it to the end, if interested).
Non-stoppable in-stream are video ads that can be placed at the beginning, middle, or end of a partner's video. They are 15-20 seconds long, and users need to watch them in order to continue watching the selected video.
By the way, representatives of Google Ukraine note that the majority of users on their own initiative watch the full version of the commercial, which is shown before the beginning of the plot of interest. They often don't click the "Skip Ads" button because the search engine offers relevant ads.
